Kitchen Extension Transformation

This project highlights the dramatic impact a well-designed kitchen extension can have on both space and lifestyle. A once dated and enclosed kitchen has been completely reimagined into a bright, open-plan living area inspired by timeless New York elegance.

By extending the footprint of the home, we created a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, with clean sightlines that enhance both openness and functionality. Large glazed doors were introduced to flood the space with natural light while creating a strong visual and physical connection to the garden.

The original kitchen felt cluttered and disconnected, with limited workspace and inefficient storage. In contrast, the new design features sleek, handleless cabinetry in a refined palette of soft neutrals and matt finishes, delivering a calm and contemporary aesthetic.

A striking central island with waterfall worktops now acts as both a practical workspace and a social focal point—ideal for entertaining. Layered lighting, including statement pendants and subtle LED accents, adds warmth and depth, echoing a high-end Manhattan-inspired style.

Upgraded flooring runs throughout the space, creating continuity and a polished finish, while bespoke storage solutions ensure everything has its place, maintaining a clean and uncluttered look.

The result is a sophisticated, design-led environment that transforms the kitchen from a purely functional room into the heart of the home—perfect for modern living and entertaining.
